BRANDS I’VE BUILT

NextSpex

In college I started NextSpex, an audio-video streaming solution that turned into a recruiting network connecting high school athletes with college coaches. This was my first startup experience and I'm thankful it exposed me to the highs and lows of entrepreneurship all within a five-year journey.

Iron Tribe Fitness:

Over seven years, my mentor and business partner, Forrest Walden, and I grew the national fitness brand, Iron Tribe. We transformed a gym that he had started in his garage into 47 locations franchised across the U.S., motivating individuals to find their fitness community.

INFLCR

After the 2015 NCAA v. O’Bannon case ruling indicated that student-athletes would be able to profit off of their NIL, I knew this was my chance to build something disruptive within the sports industry.

In late 2017, with the University of Kentucky as our first client, we launched the INFLCR app with the goal to empower college athletes and help them grow their brands on social media.

Teamworks:

In 2020, Teamworks, which offers an all-in-one solutions platform for athletes, acquired INFLCR. In August 2023, I stepped down as the CEO of INFLCR, while still remaining a shareholder at Teamworks.

I'm very proud that INFLCR is one of the many incredible resources that Teamworks provides to support and empower athletes during each stage of their career.

GLOW:

I'm the proud Co-Owner of the GLOW, beauty-on-demand, app with my wife, Yazmin. Our beauty business began in our garage, with the mission of providing a first-class beauty experience for everyday women. Now, we provide these services in a beautiful lounge in downtown Birmingham, AL.
